KEY WEST BARTAB MAGAZINE, JANUARY 2007, MUSIC PROFILE
Larry Bradley from The Key West bartab sits down with DJ Peter Worth for a chat. www.keywestbartab.com

Who is DJ Peter Worth?
A wholesome Scottish lad you could take home to your parents.

Describe your sound.
Fun. Insane. Electric.

Best way to get a lame crowd moving?
Throw a bucket of marbles on the dancefloor. If that fails playing 3 or 4 popular tracks in quick succession - really tweaking them on the sound system - works.

What are you trying to accomplish through DJing in KW?
Nada except a good time for me and anyone else who wants to jump on the bus.

Explain the feeling you get when you're pumping the crowd up.
It’s halfway between a good shag and a nice pair of loafers.

What are your influences?
Women & Daft Punk, not necessarily in that order.

Who are you listening right now?
Daft Punk, Ian Pooley, Radio Slave.

What's heaviest in your rotation?
A pair of Spongebob Squarepants boxers.

Give us your take on life. What's it all about?
I'm just a DJ so I can't help you with your problems. Snoball is available on line 2.

What are you listening to now?
“Fill Me Up” by Snax is rather tasty. You can listen to the song at here.

Any advice to an up & coming DJ?
Don’t share needles.

Anything you'd like to say to our readers?
No.

DJ PETER WORTH IN THE KEY WEST PRESS, JULY 2006
After a "year of introspection" in the Northeast, one of Key West's most dynamic DJs is back in town. Peter Downie, 25, known for his deft spinning at the old WAX nightclub under the moniker Peter Worth, Pandemonium, Southernmost House, Rock The Boat parties on the Sebago catamaran and other events, has returned to his first American hometown, ready to rock the house with his own brand of sleazy house music, and produce several upcoming party events. "I wanted to be closer to my clients' bank accounts," said the Scottish-born Downie with a laugh. "Plus, I found that Philadelphia has all of the crime of New York City, with none of the excitement.... Read entire article here
