I have used these now for around 5 years and I have never come across a better pair of DJ headphones. The popular Sony headphones that are on the market (Sony MDR V700DJ) are garbage compared to these beautifully crafted works of art.

It's all in the construction
Designed in Germany and constructed in Ireland (name another stereo product you can say that about) they run at around $250 a pair and have a sound pressure of 120 db, which is pretty bloody loud let me tell you. Quite deafening actually.

Tough as nails
I have seen countless DJs with the Sony MDR V700DJ all taped up because they are poorly made. The HD 25, on the other hand, rarely break and items that do need to be replaced often (ie, the ear cushion) are available cheaply and can be replaced easily by the user. Even if one of your cups goes our you just pop in a new one.
